What are we currently studying?
Students will be studying Newton's Laws of Motion and momentum. In addition, students will be constructing a balloon car and will apply Newton's Laws to the motion of their balloon Car.
Physical Science Big Goals:
1. Students will be able to apply the scientific method to an investigation.
(Achieved through labs and science fair)
2. Students will be able to define characteristic properties of matter, explain classification of matter, and explain and predict interactions of matter based on its properties (Chemistry unit)
3. Students will be able to explain how energy affects matter and how it behaves (Physics Unit)
